TERMS AND CONDITIONS – PIPELINE ROOTER & PLUMBING

1. Scope of Work All work will be performed as described in the written estimate or invoice. Any additional work, hidden conditions, code upgrades, or repairs not visible at the time of inspection will require separate approval and may result in additional charges.

2. Pricing and Payment All pricing is based on the conditions observed at the time of service. Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Unpaid balances may be subject to late fees, interest, and collection costs.

3. Hidden or Unknown Conditions Plumbing systems are often concealed behind walls, underground, or inside structures. Pipeline Rooter & Plumbing is not responsible for pre‑existing issues, code violations, improper installations, or failures discovered during service. Additional repairs may be required to bring systems up to code.

4. Access to Work Area The customer must provide clear access to all plumbing fixtures, crawl spaces, attics, water heaters, and shut‑off valves. If access is obstructed, additional labor or return trip charges may apply.

5. Warranty Workmanship is warrantied for ___ days from the date of service unless otherwise stated in writing. Warranty does not cover:

  • drain stoppages caused by roots, broken pipes, improper grade, or foreign objects Manufacturer warranties apply to equipment and parts and are subject to their terms.

6. Drain Cleaning and Hydro Jetting Drain cleaning restores flow but does not guarantee future performance. Roots, broken or offset pipes, bellies, and foreign objects may cause recurring issues. A camera inspection is recommended to evaluate pipe condition. Pipeline Rooter & Plumbing is not responsible for future blockages or damage caused by existing defects.

7. Water Heater and Tankless Installations All installations are performed in accordance with California code and local city requirements to the extent disclosed and accessible. Additional charges may apply for code upgrades, venting changes, gas line sizing, relocation, or bringing existing systems up to current standards.

8. Property Damage and Existing Conditions Pipeline Rooter & Plumbing is not responsible for damage resulting from:

  • existing leaks or failures

  • deteriorated or corroded pipes and fixtures

  • failed shut‑off valves

  • old, brittle, or improperly installed plumbing Repairs may expose additional failures outside the original scope of work, which will require additional authorization and charges.

9. Permits and Inspections When required, permits will be obtained in accordance with local regulations. Inspection failures due to pre‑existing conditions, unpermitted work by others, or homeowner modifications are the customer’s responsibility.

10. Cancellations and Rescheduling Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a service call or minimum trip fee.

11. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pipeline Rooter & Plumbing’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
